BUDD BELL
Advocate of Children, Families, Disabled and Vulnerable
The Florida Coalition for Children pays tribute to Budd Bell -- a true advocate of Florida's most vulnerable. For decades she walked the Capitol halls and spoke up on behalf of children, families, the disabled and the vulnerable. She founded the Clearinghouse on Human Services and played a leading role in the creation of the Baker Act.
Her passion and determination will be missed by both those she advocated for and those she worked with.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 22 at the Florida State University Alumni Conference Center.
Please feel free to share your thoughts about Budd Bell with the FCC community.
