COVID-19 Update for April 3, 2020 From CEO Kurt Kelly

In the coming weeks and months we are all going to have to continue to unite as a community and work to ensure we are effectively communicating your communities needs with policymakers. We hope all of our members, partners and various advocates from around the state and nation will continue to stand with us, as we are #InThisTogether! Florida Coalition for Children COVID-19 Response

For the past several weeks, FCC leadership and all of our member agencies have been monitoring the progress of the novel coronavirus, now known as COVID-19.

We have conducted several calls and meetings with FCC leadership, DCF leadership, and our member agencies. At this time, we are working collectively and in the communities we serve to safeguard and manage the impacts of the Coronavirus outbreak and its potential impact on the vulnerable children and families we serve.

We will continue to keep all FCC members and stakeholders appraised of any developments or systemwide impacts. In the meantime, we encourage all in our community remain diligent and continue with education efforts and precautions to ensure our workforce, and all in our care remain healthy.
